- 9.1 Consideration and possible acceptance of a $10,000 grant (AC-5281) from the Helen Close Charitable Foundation. The funds would be applied toward the purchase and training of a new K9 for the Police Department. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.2 Consideration and possible acceptance of a $10,000 grant (AC-5282) from the E. L. Cord Foundation for the purchase and training of a new police K-9. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.3 Consideration and possible adoption of Resolution No. 3301 authorizing the transfer of the City of Spark’s 2016 State Volume Bond Capacity of $4,890,856.59 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA) Single Family Programs in the City of Sparks and other communities. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.4 Consideration and possible approval of a contract (AC-5283) for the FY 2016 CDBG 16th and F Street Pedestrian Improvements Project – Federally Funded, Bid No. 16/17-003, PWP-WA-2016-203 with Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc., in the amount of $373,007. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.5 Presentation, discussion and possible approval to of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (AC-5284) between the City of Sparks and the International Association of Firefighters Local No. 1265 to add the title of Fire Plans Examiner and Inspector and to memorialize the understanding and agreement about the current pay practice for daylight savings.
