Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC, located at 906 Victorian Ave., Unit B, Sparks, NV submitted by Mr. Daniel James Stevenson.

Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Daniel James Stevenson resides at 1743 Topeka Cir., Sparks, NV./Chief of Police Brian Allen

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Stevenson’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.

Financial Impact: : $120.00 x 15 = $1,800.00 annually. There will be 15 multi-denominational video poker machines.

Mr. Daniel James Stevenson has submitted for consideration and possible approval, a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC.

Background:

Mr. Daniel James Stevenson is applying for a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC. A Gaming license was approved by Nevada Gaming Board and was scheduled to appear in front of the Commission on 07-29-16. Mummers, LLC was issued a Cabaret Liquor license with the City of Sparks in February, 2015. Mr. Stevenson is a co-owner of Custom Lawn and Landscape in Reno, Nevada from 07-06 to present. He has been a bartender in the service industry since 1999.

Analysis:

Mr. Stevenson has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Mr. Stevenson’s application for a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC, located at 906 Victorian Ave, Unit B, Sparks, NV contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
