- 9.1 Consideration and possible approval of a contract to Q&D Construction for the Mary Wahl Storm Drain Project in the amount of $680,860. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.2 Consideration and possible approval of reimbursement to the City of Reno in the amount of $1,051,160.61 for the construction of the Electrical Systems Upgrades Phase II project at the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.3 Consideration and possible approval of a consulting agreement for construction management services with CDMSmith for the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility (TMWRF) Electrical Systems Upgrade Phase II Project in an amount not to exceed $398,650.00, with the City of Sparks’ portion being $125,056.50. - 9.4 Consideration and possible approval of a contract to Peek Brothers Construction for the Howard Drive Storm Drain Realignment in the amount of $240,751.30. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 9.5 Consideration and possible appointment of a City Council Member as an alternate Commissioner to attend and vote at the September 19, 2014, Regional Transportation Commission meeting. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
10. Public Hearing and Action Items Unrelated to Planning and Zoning
- 10.1 Public Hearing, consideration and possible approval of a request from Wolfhound Holdings LLC to the City of Sparks for the abandonment of a portion of the 12th Street right of way and for the abandonment of a portion of the Victorian Plaza Circle right of way. CONTINUED FROM 8/25/2014 MEETING. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 10.2 Second Reading, discussion, and possible adoption of Bill No. 2683, an ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Sparks Municipal Code; revising provisions relating to convicted persons, sex offenders and persons convicted of nonsexual crimes against children; repealing provisions of the sparks municipal code pertaining to the registration of those persons, and thereby making state law solely applicable to such registrations; and providing other matters properly relating thereto. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION)
- 10.3 Second Reading, discussion, and possible adoption of Bill No. 2684, an ordinance amending Chapter 13 of Sparks Municipal Code modifying environmental control and pretreatment standards and defining post construction storm water quality management; and providing for other matters properly related thereto.
