Title: Consideration, discussion and possible approval of a Reversion to Acreage Map for Cameron Bartl.

Recommendation: Staff recommends City Council approve the reversion to acreage map as submitted.

Agenda Item Brief: Cameron Bartl has requested a reversion to acreage map for property located at 445 7th Street. The reversion to acreage map has been reviewed by the Community Services Department and has been found to be acceptable. Staff recommends approval.

Background: The subject parcel being reverted is located at 445 7th Street and includes lots 13 and 14 of Block J of the “Amended Plat O’Sullivan Tract” as filed in the office of the Washoe County Recorder as Tract Map No. 85. The reversion is to bring the parcel into compliance with the Building Code which requires a building not cross a property line. The total area reverted will be 7,125 square feet. The reversion process is allowed per NRS 278.490.

Analysis: The final reversion to acreage map has been checked and found to be technically correct, conforming to local ordinances and state law. Staff recommends approval.

Alternatives: 1. The City Council may or may not approve the reversion to acreage map as submitted by the owner.

Recommended Motion: “I move to approve the reversion to acreage map for Cameron Bartl as submitted by Staff.”
