Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Mountain Notions, Inc., dba Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen, located at 1180 Scheels Dr., Ste. B-111, Sparks, NV submitted by Mr. Victor Bennett Allred.

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Allred’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: $120.00 x 5 = $600.00 annually. There will be five, bar top, poker machines.

Background: Mr. Victor Bennett Allred is applying for a Gaming license for Mountain Notions, Inc., dba Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen. Mr. Allred serves as both President and Secretary of Mountain Notions, Inc., as well as the business’ owner. Jazz currently has a Gaming license issued by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, approved in July, 2008. Mr. Allred has owned Jazz in Kansas City, MO since 1993.
Analysis: Mr. Allred has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.
Alternatives: Council may approve or disapprove this application.
Recommended Motion: I move to approve Mr. Allred’s application for a Gaming license for Mountain Notions, Inc., dba Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen, located at 1180 Scheels Dr., Ste.
