Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a gaming license for Stillwater Gaming, LLC dbat Victorian Penny Park, located at 1114 Victorian Avenue, Sparks, NV, submitted by Mr. David Scott Tate.

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Tate's application for a gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions, and upon issuance of a gaming license by Gaming Control Board.
Financial Impact: $120.00 x 16 = $1,920.00 annually. There will be sixteen, upright, nickel slot machines.

Agenda Item Brief: Mr. David Scott Tate has submitted for consideration and possible approval, a gaming license for Stillwater Gaming, LLC dbat Victorian Penny Park.
Background: Mr. David Scott Tate is applying for a gaming license in the City of Sparks. Mr. Tate has been the Manager of Stillwater Gaming/WCW Corp., a slot-route vendor located in Fallon, NV, since January, 1995. Mr. Tate will be operating gaming devices at Victorian Penny Park for one day only, November 1st, 2011, in an effort to preserve the location's unrestricted gaming license. From July, 1994 to Dec., 1994, Mr. Tate was an Accountant at Palace Casino, located in Biloxi, MS. Prior to that, Mr. Tate worked as an Accountant at Ernst & Young, located in Phoenix, AZ, from Jan., 1990 to July, 1994.
Analysis: Mr. Tate has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.
Alternatives: Council may approve or disapprove this application.
