Agenda Item Brief: Livona Lopshire and Brenda Freiberger have submitted a reversion to acreage map for lots 17 and 18 of the Newtown Tract (Tract Map 79). The reversion to acreage map has been reviewed by the Community Services Department and has been found to be acceptable. Staff recommends approval.


Background: The Newtown Tract subdivision map was recorded by the Washoe County Recorder at Tract Map 79 on July 16, 1904. Livona Lopshire and Brenda Freiberger are the owners of lots 17 and 18 and have requested a reversion of acreage of lots 17 and 18 into a single lot.

Analysis: The final reversion to acreage map been checked and found to be technically correct, conforming to local ordinances and state law. The appropriate plan checking fees have been paid. A performance bond is not required to be filed with the City Clerk as no public improvements are associated with this map.

Alternatives: The City Council may or may not approve the reversion to acreage map as submitted by the owners.

Recommended Motion: I move to approve the reversion to acreage map for Livona Lopshire and Brenda Freiberger.
