Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC, DBA Victorian RV Park, located at 205 Nichols Blvd., Sparks, NV, 89431, as a slot route operator, submitted by Sean T. Higgins.

Recommendation: Council approve Mr. Sean Higgins’ application for a Gaming license contingent upon the approval from the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board, location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter, and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: $30.00 x 5 = $150.00 annually. There will be five coin-operated machines.

Background:

Mr. Sean Higgins is applying for a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC DBA Victorian RV Park, located at 205 Nichols Blvd., Sparks, Nevada 89431 as a slot route operator. Mr. Higgins is the Executive Vice President of Government Affairs for Golden Entertainment, Incorporation since April of 2016.



Analysis:

Mr. Sean Higgins has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.



Alternatives:

1. Council may approve this application as submitted.

2. Council may deny this application and provide further direction to the City Manager.



Recommended Motion:

I move to approve the Gaming license application submitted for Sartini Gaming DBA Victorian RV Park, located at 205 Nichols Blvd., Sparks, NV 89431, as a slot route operator, contingent upon inspections and approvals by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter, and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI  not reflecting any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
