Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for EE Tavern Group, LLC dba Sneakers Bar and Grill #3, located at 1380 Disc Drive, Sparks, NV.

Recommendation: Council approve Eric Westenburg’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: 120.00 x 15 - $1,800 annually. There will be fifteen coin operated machines.

Mr. Eric Alan Westenburg has submitted for consideration and possible approval, an application for a Gaming license for EE Tavern Group dba Sneakers Bar and Grill #3.



Background:

Mr. Eric Alan Westenburg is applying for a Gaming license for EE Tavern Group dba Sneakers Bar and Grill #3, located at 1380 Disc Drive, Sparks, Nevada 89436. Mr. Westenburg is the owner of EE Tavern Group and has engaged in this type of business for 35 years.



Analysis:

Mr. Westenburg has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.



Alternatives:

1. Council may approve the application for a Gaming license.

2. Council may deny the application for a Gaming license and provide direction to the City Manager.



Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Eric Westenburg’s application for a Gaming license for EE Tavern Group dba Sneakers Bar and Grill #3, located at 1380 Disc Drive, Sparks, Nevada, contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter, and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI  that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
