Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC located at 906 Victorian Avenue, #B, Sparks, Nevada 89434 submitted by Mr. Danny Michael McDonald.

Recommendation: Council approve Danny Michael McDonald’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.

Financial Impact: $30.00 x 16 = $480.00 annually. There will be 16 multi-denomination poker coin operated machines.

Mr. Danny Michael McDonald has submitted for consideration and possible approval, a Gaming license application for Mummers, LLC located at 906 Victorian Avenue, #B, Sparks, Nevada 89434. Staff recommends approval.

Background:

Mr. McDonald is applying for a Gaming License for Mummers LLC, located at 906 Victorian Avenue, #B, Sparks, Nevada 89434. Mr. McDonald has been a Managing Member of Mummers LLC since August 23, 2017. While working as a Managing Member at Mummers LLC, Mr. McDonald is also the owner of Calibrated Concrete since 1999 when the business was originally called Diamond Concrete, located at 9716 South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada.

Analysis:

Mr. McDonald has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives:

1. Council may approve the application as recommneded.

2. Council may reject the application and provide further direction to the City Manager.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve the application for a Gaming license for Mummers, LLC located at 906 Victorian Avenue, #B, Sparks, Nevada 89434 submitted by Danny Michael McDonald contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
