Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC DBA Woody’s Grille and Spirits, located at 960 South McCarran Boulevard Sparks, Nevada 89431, submitted by Sean T. Higgins.
Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Sean Higgins/Chief of Police Pete Krall
Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Sean Higgins’ application for a Gaming license contingent upon the approval from the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board, location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: $30.00 x 10 = $300.00 annually. There will be 10 multi-denominational coin operated machines.

Background:

Sean Higgins is applying for a Gaming License for Sartini Gaming, LLC DBA Woody’s Grille and Spirits, located at 960 South McCarran Boulevard Sparks, Nevada 89431. Mr. Higgins has been the Executive Vice President Government Affairs of Golden Entertainment, Incorporation since April of 2016.



Analysis:

Sean Higgins has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.



Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.



Recommended Motion:

I move to approveSean Higgins’ application for a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC DBA Woody’s Grille and Spirits, located at 960 South McCarran Boulevard Sparks, Nevada 89431 contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
