Agenda Item Brief: Committee appointment

Background: Mitchell Nowicki has served two terms on the Sparks Planning Commission and is willing to serve for another four years. Announcement of the two terms which expired December 31, 2011 has been made at several council meetings this fall, and only one application has been received. Mayor Martini is recommending that Mr. Nowicki be reappointed to the Sparks Planning Commission for another four-year term. Council must confirm the appointment.
