Title: Consideration, discussion and possible approval to change the Employee Complement to reflect a title change from Parks Development & Operations Manager to Parks Development Coordinator; and, move the position from the Parks & Recreation Department to the Community Services Department.

Recommendation: The City Council approved an Employee Complement title change from Parks Development & Operations Manager to Parks Development Coordinator; and, move the position from Parks & Recreation Department to the Community Services Department.

Financial Impact: This position is budgeted. There is no request to change salary.

A Business Impact Statement is not required because this is not a rule.

Agenda Item Brief:

The Employee Complement needs to reflect a change in title and department for the position of Parks Develoment Coordinator.

Background:

The title for the position of Parks Development & Operations Manager has been changed to Parks Development Coordinator; and, the position has been moved from the Parks and Recreation Department to the Community Services Department.

Human Resources is requesting a change to the Employee Complement to reflect these changes.

New Title: Parks Development Coordinator

New Department: Community Services Department

Resolution: Mid-Management Professional

Alternatives:

1. The City Council may approve the change to the title as presented by staff.

2. The City Council may not approve the change to the title as presented by staff.

3. The City Council may not approve the change to the title, but provide direction or alternatives to the City Manager.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve a change to the Employee Complement to reflect a title change from Parks Development & Operations Manager to Parks Development Coordinator; and, move the postion from the Parks & Recreation Department to the Community Services Department.
