Committee appointments.
Background:
The Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee reviews the operations, policies, procedures and financial status of the Development Services Enterprise Fund and can provide recommendations to the Sparks City Council with respect to proposed code amendments, fees for development services and impact fee rates associated with Impact Fee Service Area #1.
The City of Sparks has three appointments to EFAC for the following:
- 1 member from the residential construction industry, 2-year term
- 1 member from the commercial development industry, 3-year term
- 1 member from the construction industry, 4-year term
All subsequent appointments will be for 4-year terms.
An announcement of the vacancies to the Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee was made at the City Council meetings held on September 28th, October 12th, and October 26, 2015.
Mayor Martini has selected Ted Erkan as the candidate for the residential construction industry; Kraig Knudsen as the candidate for the commercial development industry; and Brian Reeder as the candidate for the construction industry.

I move to confirm the appointments of Ted Erkan, Kraig Knudsen and Brian Reeder to the Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee as recommended by Mayor Martini.
