Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for United Coin Machine Co., dbat Food Mart, located at 1600 Victorian Avenue, Sparks, NV, 89431, submitted by Mr. Robert Alvin Woodson.

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Woodson’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions, and upon issuance of a gaming license by Gaming Control Board.
Financial Impact: $120.00 x 7 = $840.00 annually. There will be seven gaming video devices, multi-denominations.

Background: Mr. Robert Alvin Woodson is applying for a Gaming license for United Coin Machine Co., dbat Food Mart at 1600 Victorian Avenue. Mr. Woodson holds the position of Vice President and serves as the Regulatory Compliance Officer as a Gaming Slot Route Operator and has been in the business industry for 25 years. United Coin Machine Co. is a slot route vendor dbat five 7-11 stores throughout the Sparks area, 2 Raley’s Stores, #102 and #110, and recently approved for Maverik, Inc., #475.

Analysis: Mr. Woodson has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives: Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion: I move to approve Mr. Woodson’s application for a Gaming license for United Coin Machine Co., dbat Food Mart, located at 1600 Victorian Avenue, Sparks, NV contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
