Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for United Coin Machine Co. dba Century Gaming Technologies, located at 800 Prater Way.

Recommendation: That Council approve Mr. Cogswell’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: $30.00 x 3 = $90.00 annually. There will be 3 multi-denomination coin operated slot machines.

Background:

Mr. Cogswell is applying for a Gaming License for United Coin Machine Co. dba Century Gaming Technologies, located at 800 Prater Way Sparks, Nevada 89431. Mr. Cogswell is the Vice President and General Manager of the Century Gaming Technologies since 2005, located at 600 Pilot Road, Suite E, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.



Analysis:

Mr. Cogswell has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.



Alternatives:

1. Council may approve the application as recommneded.

2. Council may deny the application and provide direction to the City Manager.



Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Timothy Cogswell’s application for a Gaming license for United Coin Machine Co. dba Century Gaming Technologies, located at 800 Prater Way Sparks, Nevada 89431, contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
