The city's policy governing the acceptance of grants and/or donations  requires that any grant or donation recieved by the city in an amount less than $5,000 be presented to the City Council for consideration and acceptance. This staff report identifies the grants and donations recieved by the city in the third quarter of 2020. Staff recommends that Council accept the grants and donations identified below.

Background:

On March 11, 2013, Council approved Resolution No. 3234, which established a policy for the acceptance of grants and donations received and recorded by the Financial Services Department which are under the amount of $5,000 individually.

Analysis:

The following grants and donations of less than $5,000 were awarded to the City during the period from January 2020 to March 2020:

Alternatives:

1. City Council may accept all of the grants and donations detailed above.

2. City Council may reject some or all of the grants and donations detailed above and provide direction to the City Manager.

Recommended Motion:

I move to accept all of the grants and donations of less than $5,000 recieved by the city in January, February and March of 2020.
