Title: Consideration, discussion and possible approval of the Mayor’s recommendation of two 3-year appointments with terms ending 06/30/2022, and one partial term appointment ending 6/30/2020, to the Sparks Parks and Recreation Commission from the following pool of applicants listed in alphabetical order: David Blaco, Jack Byrom, Terry Frugoli, Jazmin Lozano, Kelly Luchetti and Jennifer Martinez.

Background:

The city of Sparks has two 3-year appointments and one partial term appointment (ending 6/30/2020) available to the Sparks Parks and Recreation Commission.

An announcement of the vacancies were made throughout the April and May 2019 council meetings. Several people have submitted Community Service Applications expressing interest in serving on the board. Mayor Smith has conducted brief interviews with the applicants and will announce his recommendation for appointments at the meeting. Council must confirm the appointments.
