Background:

The City of Sparks has an appointment available to the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees. This is a four-year term which expires on June 30, 2023.

An announcement of a vacancy on the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees was made throuout the April and May 2019 council meetings. Several people have submitted Community Service Applications expressing interest in serving on the board. Mayor Smith has conducted brief interviews with the applicants and will announce his recommendation for appointment at the meeting. Council must confirm the appointment.
