Agenda Item Brief: Commission appointment

Background: There is currently one vacancy on the Sparks Planning Commission for a four-year term that will expire December 31, 2015. Announcement of this vacancy was made at several council meetings, and several individuals have applied. Mayor Martini has conducted phone interviews with the applicants and will announce his recommendation at the meeting. The City Council must confirm the appointment.
