Agenda Item Brief: The Washoe County Home Consortium was established in 1994 and includes the City of Sparks, Reno, and Washoe County. The Goal of hte Conosortium is to provide decent affordable housing to low income households, expand the capacity of nonprofit housing providers, strengthen the ability of state and local governments to provide housing and leverage private sectior participation. The Technical Review Committe is providing this same presentation for the City of Reno City Council and the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners.
