A Business Impact Statement is not required because this is not a rule.
Agenda Item Brief: Consideration and possible approval of a request from RRW Stonebrook, LLC to vacate Stonebrook and Oppio Ranch Parkways. Staff recommends approval.
Background: Dedication Tract Map 4777 for Stonebrook and Oppio Ranch Parkways dedicated approximately 4866 linear feet of public road right of way to the City. Dedication Tract Map 4777, was approved by the City, and was recorded on May 11, 2007 as File No. 3531508. The dedicated public roads were never constructed.
Analysis: Staff recommends the Council approve the vacation of the Stonebrook and Oppio Ranch Parkways right of way back to the parties legally entitled. Exhibit A-1, Sheets 1-9, shows the location of the Stonebrook and Oppio Ranch Parkways. With the present economic conditions, the Owners have no intentions of constructing the roads. The abandonment of the road right of way will return approximately 6.51 acres to the tax rolls.
Alternatives: None.
Recommended Motion: I move to approve the vacation of Stonebrook and Oppio Ranch Parkways as outlined by staff.
