This agenda item is presented following the presentation, discussion and possible approval of a city reorganization plan recommending complement changes in the Management Services Department and Community Services Department.  Amendments to the Executive Resolution, Appendix A are recommended to implement the reorganization proposed by staff if the complement changes are approved by the Council.

Job Classification and Salary Wage Range to be added to Appendix A:

Title:  Assistant City Manager

Maximum Pay Range:   $181,938

Job Classification Title Change to the Appendix A:

Previous Title: Deputy City Manager for Community Services

Maximum Pay Range:  $165,402

New Title:  Community Services Director 

Maximum Pay Range:  $165,402

1.  The City Council may approve the Appendix A title and salary range addition and the title change as presented by staff.

2.  The City Council may not approve Appendix A title and salary range addition and the title change as presented by staff.

3.  The City Council may not approve Appendix A title and salary range addition and the title change, but provide direction or alternatives to the City Manager.
