Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for TA Operating Nevada LLC, dba Alamo Travel Center located at 1950 Greg Street, Sparks, NV submitted by Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood.

Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood resides at 1151 Shadow Lane, Fernley, NV 89408/Deputy Chief Tom Miller

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.

Financial Impact: $30.00 x 176 = $5,280.00 quarterly; $105.00 x 5 = $525.00 quarterly; $75.00 x 2 = $150.00 quarterly. There will be 100 multi denomination, 63 Penny slots, 1 Nickel slot, 4 Quarter slots, 6 Dollar slots, 2 Five-dollar slots. There will also be 3 Blackjack tables, 1 Dueces Wild, 1 Craps, 2 Texas Hold’em Poker table games.

Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood is applying for a Gaming License for TA Operating Nevada LLC, dba Alamo Travel Center, located at 1950 Greg Street, Sparks, Nevada. Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood has been the Vice President of Operations at TA Operating Nevada LLC since December 2005. Prior to this, he worked at Speedco, Inc. in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Analysis:

Mr. Eddie D. Kirkwood has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Mr. Eddie D.
