Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a non-restricted Gaming license for NP Red Rock LLC, dba Baldini’s Sports Casino, located at 865 S. Rock Blvd., Sparks, NV, submitted by Mr. Marc J. Falcone.

Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Marc J. Falcone resides at 95 Hawk Ridge Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135./Deputy Chief Tom Miller

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Falcone’s application for a non-restricted Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions, and upon issuance of a gaming license by Gaming Control Board.

Financial Impact: Race Horse and Sports Book $1200.00 annually.

Background:

Mr. Marc J. Falcone is applying for a non-restricted Gaming license for NP Red Rock LLC, dbat Baldini’s Sports Casino, located at 865 S. Rock Blvd., Sparks, Nevada. Mr. Falcone is the EVP/CFO for Fertitta Entertainment LLC/Casino Management located at 1505 S. Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada since November, 2009. Prior to his current position, he was employed in New York, NY as a VP/Senior Analyst for Goldman Sachs and Co./Investment Banking in New York, NY from June, 2008 to October, 2009; a Senior Analyst for Magnetic Capital LLC/Investment Banking from April, 2006 to June, 2006 and a Managing Director for Deutsche Bank Securities/Investment Banking from May, 2002 to April, 2006.

Analysis:

Mr. Falcone has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Mr. Falcone’s application for a non-restricted Gaming license for NP Red Rock LLC, dbat Baldini’s Sports Casino, located at 865 S. Rock Blvd., Sparks, NV contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
