Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center is providing the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department with a $7,500.00 sponsorship for outfield signage at Shadow Mountain Sports Complex.
Background:
Since 2008, Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center has partnered with the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department to provide sponsorship support for designated park/facility areas, including Alf Sorensen Community Center (pool area and gym), Victorian Square (amphitheater and sound system), and Shadow Mountain Sports Complex (outfield signage). In return, Saint Mary’s has received mutually agreed upon signage/branding opportunities. These sites have various sponsorship periods. At this time, Saint Mary’s has opted to continue sponsorship of outfield signage at Shadow Mountain Sports Complex for a two year period to further their brand messaging.
Analysis:
Saint Mary’s is providing a total of $7,500.00 for sponsorship of outfield signage (12 panels) at Shadow Mountain Sports Complex for the next two years, concluding April 2017.
Alternatives:
The Council could deny the acceptance of the sponsorship.
Recommended Motion:
I move to accept the $7,500.00 sponsorship from Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center for outfield signage at Shadow Mountain Sports Complex.
