Background:

An announcement of a vacancy on the Western Nevada Development District was made in January at both City Council meetings. The appointment is for a two-year term that will end on November 2, 2016. The complete pool of applicants being considered, in alphabetical order are: Kristopher Dahir and David Espinosa. Mayor Martini will make his recommendation at the City Council meeting.
