Title: Consideration and possible approval of a Final Map for Galleria Station II

Agenda Item Brief: The Galleria Station II Final map will create 74 residential lots within the Galleria Station New Urban Development. The final map and civil improvement drawings have been reviewed by the Community Services Department and have been found to be acceptable. Staff recommends approval.


Background: The Galleria Station II subdivision is a continuation of the Galleria Station New Urban Development. The subdivision will be generally located east of Galleria Parkway and South of Los Altos Parkway. Access to the subdivision will be from Costa Azul Drive. Approval of this final map will create 74 lots on 12.96 acres. The Developer is Lewis Operating Corporation.

Analysis: The final subdivision map and improvement drawings have been checked and found to be technically correct, conforming to local ordinances and state law. The appropriate plan checking and inspection fees have been paid. A performance bond has been filed with the City Clerk to guarantee the construction of the public improvements.

Alternatives: The City Council may or may not approve the final subdivision map as submitted by the developer.

Recommended Motion: "I move to approve the Galleria Station II Final Subdivision Map as submitted by Staff"
