Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for 7-Eleven, #21330G, located at 2295 G Street, Sparks, NV, 89431, submitted by Mr. Julius Cyrus Amirfar.
Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Julius Cyrus Amirfar resides at 3045 Hillhouse Court, Reno, NV 89512./Chief Brian Allen
Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Amirfar’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions, and upon issuance of a gaming license by Gaming Control Board.
Financial Impact: $120.00 x 4 = $480.00 annually. There will be four slot machines, twenty-one (coin-op), Poker (coin-op), Dice (coin-op).

Background: Mr. Julius Cyrus Amirfar is applying for a Gaming license for 7-Eleven, #21330G, located at 2295 G Street, Sparks, Nevada. In 2009, Mr. Amirfar became the owner of 7-Eleven, #21330G, and continues in this capacity. He currently holds a Liquor license for 7-Eleven, #21330G, located at 2295 G Street, Sparks, Nevada, with the City of Sparks, since December 4, 2009. Mr. Amirfar was also the owner of Amirfar Construction from 2002 to 2012.

Analysis: Mr. Amirfar has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives: Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion: I move to approve Mr. Amirfar’s application for a Gaming license for 7-Eleven, #21330G, located at 2295 G Street, Sparks, NV contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
