Agenda Item Brief:

Presentation, discussion and possible direction on the proposed five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). All projects are subject to the City Manager’s recommendations and City Council approval of the final budget.

Background:

Each year staff meets with representatives from the various Departments and Divisions throughout the City to discuss the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and any new needs that have arisen throughout the year. Projects are prioritized during multiple meetings, conversations, and estimates that occur to obtain the most efficient and effective use of the available Budget.

Analysis:

A presentation summarizing the proposed Capital Improvement Plan scheduled for Fiscal Year 2019 and the proposed five-year Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 2019 through 2023 are attached for Council’s review.
