Background:

The City of Sparks has a partial appointment available to the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees. The term of this appointment expires on June 30, 2019.

An announcement of a vacancy on the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees was made at the March 13th and 27th council meetings.

Several people have submitted Community Service Applications expressing interest in serving on the board.

Mayor Martini has conducted brief interviews with the applicants and will announce his recommendation for appointment at the meeting. Council must confirm the appointment.

The appointment is for a partial term that will end on June 30, 2019.

Mayor Martini will make his recommendation at the council meeting.
