Agenda Item Brief: Commission appointments

Background: There are two vacancies on the Commission for terms which will expire June 30, 2014. Announcement of these vacancies was made at several City Council meetings, and several people applied to serve on the Commission. Mayor Martini conducted brief phone interviews with the applicants and is recommending that George Myers and Steven Schiller be appointed. Council must confirm these appointments.
