Title: FIRST READING of Bill No. 2638 amending the Sparks Municipal Code RELATING TO ALARM SYSTEMS; AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE SPARKS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ALARM SYSTEMS; DIRECTING THAT MONEY GENERATED BY FEES ASSESSED FROM THE FALSE ALARM REDUCTION PROGRAM CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 9.06 OF THE SMC SHALL FLOW INTO THE CITY’S GENERAL FUND; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO.

Recommendation: That the City Council instruct the City Clerk to read the FIRST READING of the Bill by title on November 28, 2011 and thereafter publish notice of a SECOND READING and public hearing of the Bill for its adoption and possible approval on December 12, 2011.
