Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Winner’s Gaming, Inc, DBA: Pyramid Gas & Liquor, located at 800 Prater Way, Sparks, NV, submitted by Mr. Robert Gene King.

Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Robert Gene King resides at 10 Moonbeam Court, Sparks, NV 89441/Chief of Police Brian Allen

Recommendation: It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Robert Gene King’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.

Financial Impact: $30 x 5 = $150 quarterly. There will be 5 multi denomination coin operated machines.

Mr. Robert Gene King is applying for a Gaming License for Winner’s Gaming, Inc, DBA: Pyramid Gas & Liquor, located at 800 Prater Way, Sparks, NV. Mr. Robert Gene King has been president of Winners Gaming since July 1, 1986. Prior to being president of Winners Gaming, Mr. Robert Gene King worked in a Route position for J & J Novelty from January, 1984 to June, 1986, located at 240 Vine Street, Reno, NV. Mr. Robert Gene King was a Carpenter for K & K Builders from December, 1982 to January, 1984, located at 5500 Goldenrod, Reno, NV.

Analysis:

Mr. Robert Gene King has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.

Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.

Recommended Motion:
