Agenda Item Brief:

Draft minutes of the Sparks City Council Concurrent meeting with the Reno City Council and the Washoe Board of Commissioners meeting of May 2, 2016 and the regular Sparks City Council meeting of May 9, 2016.

Background:

Approval of the Sparks City Council minutes is standard procedure.

Analysis:

Per NRS 241.035, a public body shall approve the minutes of a meeting within 45 days after the meeting or at the next meeting of the public body, whichever occurs later.

Alternatives:

The City Council could direct the City Clerk to revise, correct or otherwise alter the minutes and submit the revised minutes for approval.

Recommended Motion:

I move to approve the minutes of the Sparks City Council Concurrent meeting with the Reno City Council and the Washoe Board of Commissioners meeting of May 2, 2016 and the regular Sparks City Council meeting of May 9, 2016.
