Agenda Item Brief:

The City of Sparks' vision statement is "Be the city of choice for Residents, Businesses and Visitors". Staff is seeking a confirmation that the current city vision statement is on track and to be the basis for future operational and strategic planning efforts.

Council may discuss modification and/or additions of current objectives and provide direction to staff of any desired changes.

Background:

While the vision statement is not going to be rewritten at this meeting, staff felt this was the proper time to check in with Council to confirm the statement is still valid. There have been changes in the economy and with Council members since the statement was last revisted.
