Title: Consideration and possible approval of the Mayor’s recommendation of appointment to the Civil Service Commission from the following pool of applicants, listed in alphabetical order: Steve Burlie; Shaun Carey, Louis Dauria.

Recommendation: That council confirm the Mayor's appointments to the Sparks Civil Service Commission.

Background:

The City of Sparks has two appointments to the Civil Service Commission.  The term of both of these appointments will expire on June 30, 2018. Each appointment is for a three year term.  An announcement of the vacancies to the Civil Service Commission was made at each city council meeting in April and May.

Steven Burlie and Louis Dauria have both requested re-appointment and Mayor Martini has selected them to continue their service on the Sparks Civil Service Commission.
