Title: Consideration and possible approval of an application for a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC dba Golden Route Operations, dbat The Elbow Room, located at 2002 Victorian Avenue, Sparks, NV submitted by Mr. Matthew W. Flandermeyer.
Petitioner/Presenter: Mr. Matthew W. Flandermeyer resides at 2117 Orchard Mist St., Las Vegas, NV./Chief Brian Allen
Recommendation: : It is recommended that Council approve Mr. Flandermeyer’s application for a Gaming license contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI/CJIS that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
Financial Impact: $120.00 x 10 = $1,200.00 annually. There will be ten multi denomination coin operated machines/slots.

     A Business Impact Statement is not required because this is not a rule.

Mr. Matthew W. Flandermeyer has submitted for consideration and possible approval, a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC dba Golden Route Operations, dbat The Elbow Room.



Background:

Mr. Flandermeyer is applying for a Gaming License for Sartini Gaming, LLC dba Golden Route Operations, dbat The Elbow Room as a slot route vendor in addition to several other locations in the Sparks area.  Mr. Flandermeyer has been the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President for Golden Gaming, Inc. located at 6595 South Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada from 10-8-07 to present.  Prior to that he was the Chief Financial Officer/financial leadership for Stir Crazy Partners, LLC located at 303 W. Erie, 6th Floor, Chicago, IL from 07-31-07 – 10-05-07.  He was a private consultant from 01-07 to 07-31-07.  From 11-05-01-07, Mr. Flandermeyer was the Chief Financial Officer/financial leadership for GRS, LLC located at 152 W. Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI.



Analysis:

Mr. Flandermeyer has complied with all existing ordinances and requirements.



Alternatives:

Council may approve or disapprove this application.



Recommended Motion:

I move to approve Mr. Flandermeyer’s application for a Gaming license for Sartini Gaming, LLC dba Golden Route Operations, dbat The Elbow Room, located at 2002 Victorian Avenue., Sparks, NV contingent upon the location being inspected and approved by every city, county, district, and state agency having jurisdiction over the matter and upon fingerprints being returned from the FBI that do not reflect any disqualifying arrests/convictions.
